Banyumas Regent Sadewo Tri Lastiono, in Central Java, test-rode a VinFast electric motorcycle and said he now plans to redirect roughly Rp 1.7 billion previously set aside for a new official car into buying electric motorcycles instead. The plan envisions about 60 units for village chiefs and 30 for school inspectors, with hill-climb testing planned in Cilongok.
