Slightly off my usual beat here, but playing to a result in a fixture with barely any away support at all is valuable experience for a young player like Neil. The numbers come later, and I'll keep watching his progress without rushing to any conclusions.
Rangers' dominance stood out even more than the scoreline suggests. The turning point was Neil's opener in the 23rd minute, and looking at the full ninety, Celtic never really looked like they could get back into the contest after that.
Structurally, Rangers won the physical battles all match long in my reading of it. I'd rather not judge tactical superiority purely by a three-goal margin, but this looks like one of the rarer games where intent and result actually lined up.
