Honda's Electric ZOOMER e: Scooter Debuts in China via Joint Venture Wuyang-Honda

Wuyang-Honda, Honda's joint venture with Guangzhou Automobile Group, has unveiled the electric ZOOMER e: scooter for the Chinese market. It carries over the original Zoomer's exposed steel pipe frame and round dual headlights while packing a 400W motor. The standard version covers about 80km on a charge and starts at 5,999 yuan, roughly ¥140,000.

Jarvis Finishes Red Bull Romaniacs on the Electric JARV-E, Lettenbichler Ties Win Record

51-year-old Graham Jarvis became the first competitor to finish the world's toughest hard enduro rally on an electric motorcycle, riding the prototype JARV-E to 20th in the Gold class at Red Bull Romaniacs. Manuel Lettenbichler took the overall win, his seventh Romaniacs title, tying Jarvis's all-time record.
