Helmets Save Lives — Making Them Accessible to Everyone, Everywhere

In countries where motorcycles are basic daily transportation, helmet culture itself apparently still isn't fully established in some places.

The point that a helmet is a lifeline especially in countries where bikes are everyday transport — sounds like it should take priority over the electrification debate.

Japan used to have a lot of riders without helmets too — I remember both regulation and price coming together to fix that.

Cheaper helmets are more often the ones that don't meet safety standards, which makes this a tricky problem.

Good that the WEF is putting forward a proposal, but I'd want it to also address who's actually funding it.

Low helmet adoption in emerging markets seems more like a distribution problem than just a price problem.
