KTM 990 Duke R Review: Brembo Brakes and Linkage Rear Refine the 990 Duke to Its Peak

The thing I'm most curious about is how much of a price gap there is from the base model.

Switching to a linkage rear should change the cornering characteristics quite a bit, looking forward to test ride reports.

In the fight for the top of the middle naked class, the Street Triple and MT-09 SP seem like the real rivals.

Despite carrying the R name, it's mainly the chassis getting the upgrade, guess the engine itself stays the same.

So the changes from the base 990 Duke are mainly the brakes and rear suspension.

Brembo plus a linkage rear, that's basically a full-spec R at that point, would love to ride it.
